The Noble Network of Charter Schools raises money to support academic and back office operations for Noble Street Charter School. A large group of local and national investors has invested in the Noble Network’s effort to open more campuses of Noble Street Charter School. Their partnership and support of Noble Street’s vision is laudable, and we thank them for their commitment to education reform in Chicago and beyond. If you’re interested in naming a new Noble campus or contributing to the replication effort, please contact Rachel Kramer via email or at 773-278-6895, Ext. 174.

As public schools, charter schools do receive public funding, but that funding is not equivelant to funds provided to traditional public schools. As the charter management for Noble Street Charter School, the Network raises funds to enable Noble Street Charter School to achieve its mission, goals and objectives (links to mission page). The school's goals and objectives are:
Goals
- To increase academic performance of Chicago's low-income, minority students resulting in attendance at two and four year colleges and universities
- To catalyze change in Chicago public education
- To share successful practices with other educators/administrators in Chicago and cities across the country
Objectives
- To develop the infrastructure needed to support the Network campuses through
- A central management office (CMO)
- A back office for fiscal and human resources management
- An evaluative and dissemination function
- To open six new Noble Street high school campuses by fall 2008
Noble Street has specific milestones detailing the path toward achievement of these goals and objectives. Some funders choose to link their investments to achievement of these milestones. Currently, the success of the Noble Network is measured by the success of Noble Street Charter School.
